With the national flag flying high and unwavering commitment in our hearts, CLT held a special themed event on the morning of July 31 to honor all veteran employees and Party members ahead of the 105th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China and the 99th anniversary of the founding of the Chinese People’s Liberation Army.
Under the theme of “Moving Forward with the Spirit of Soldiers and Striving for Excellence Through Dedication,” the event was organized to strengthen the company’s culture of patriotism, responsibility, and commitment. CLT Chairman Mr. Duan Sicai, along with senior executives Mr. Li and Mr. Huang, attended the event, joined by Party members, veteran employees, and representatives from the Shenzhen office.
At 9:30 a.m., all participants gathered to watch a documentary highlighting the history and spirit of China’s revolutionary journey. The 15-minute film brought everyone back to those challenging yet inspiring years, showcasing the unwavering faith, courage, and dedication of the generations who came before us.
After the viewing, several employees were randomly selected to share their reflections. Their heartfelt thoughts and personal insights helped deepen the understanding of the spirit of perseverance, responsibility, and commitment.
During the sharing session, representatives of veteran employees and Party members took the stage to share their personal journeys—from military service to their current roles at CLT—as well as the motivations behind their commitment to serving the country and contributing to society.
“While wearing the military uniform, we protected our country. After taking it off, we continue to contribute through our work at CLT.”
They shared how the discipline, sense of responsibility, and determination developed during their military careers continue to guide their daily work and inspire them to pursue excellence in their positions.
“Because we set higher goals, we have the opportunity to meet and work alongside the right people,” one speaker shared emotionally. “In the military, we came together because of our shared mission to protect our country. At CLT, we move forward together because of our shared vision and commitment to building a better future.”
Their words, reflecting the spirit of “retiring from the military but never retiring the spirit” and “remaining true to our original aspirations,” received warm applause from everyone present.
Following the sharing session, Chairman Duan Sicai delivered a speech, extending sincere holiday greetings and appreciation to all veteran employees and Party members. He emphasized that veterans are valuable assets to the company, while Party members serve as pioneers and role models within the team.
Chairman Duan encouraged everyone to maintain their sense of responsibility, dedication, and commitment, continuously improve themselves, and make greater contributions to CLT’s journey toward high-quality growth.
Senior executive Mr. Li also encouraged employees to bring the discipline, execution, and sense of mission developed through military service into their daily work, creating greater value in their respective roles.
At the conclusion of the event, Chairman Duan, Mr. Li, and Mr. Huang presented commemorative gifts to all veteran employees and Party members, followed by a group photo in front of the event backdrop.
Each gift represented CLT’s sincere appreciation, care, and respect for those who have dedicated themselves to serving the country and contributing to the company’s development.
The spirit of a soldier lies in loyalty, dedication, and perseverance, while the foundation of a company is built on commitment and continuous progress.
Over the years, CLT’s veteran employees and Party members have consistently carried forward the qualities shaped through their military experiences—discipline, resilience, teamwork, and the courage to take on challenges. Across departments including R&D, manufacturing, and marketing, they continue to demonstrate strong execution, responsibility, and determination, turning their values into concrete actions and supporting the company’s steady development.
This August 1st Army Day themed event not only allowed veteran employees and Party members to feel the warmth and care of the CLT family, but also strengthened their sense of pride, belonging, and team connection. It further reflected CLT’s people-oriented culture and commitment to caring for its employees.
Looking ahead, CLT will continue to promote the spirit of supporting and honoring the military, encouraging all employees to embrace the values of perseverance, teamwork, and striving for excellence.
With the spirit of soldiers and the passion of those who pursue progress, CLT will continue to unite as one, move forward with determination, and create a new chapter of high-quality development together.
