Urban Landmark & Festival Illumination
To celebrate the winter festive season and revitalize retail vibrancy in the central commercial district of downtown South Korea, the municipal commerce authority and retail developers envisioned a towering, sculptural LED Christmas tree installation. The project was conceived as an interactive holiday landmark to captivate shoppers and social media creators.
Sculptural Conical LED Engineering
CLT engineered a custom conical curved LED display system that forms a monumental 3D Christmas tree. Built with high-strength curved steel framing and precision outdoor LED modules, the installation displays synchronized festive animations, cascading light effects, and celebratory greetings with vibrant color vibrancy.
The display achieves over 5,500 nits of calibrated luminance, guaranteeing striking visual contrast under bright direct sunlight and dramatic luminescence against the night cityscape.
Extreme Winter Weather Resilience
Engineered to withstand sub-zero winter temperatures, heavy snowfall, and gusty urban winds, the system features IP65 waterproof and dustproof encapsulation, low-temperature cold-start power modules, and specialized anti-icing coatings for uninterrupted holiday operation.
