Canadian Church Worship Sanctuary: High-Fidelity Livestream Fine-Pitch LED Screen

For modern worship spaces, clear visual communication plays an important role in helping audiences stay connected with every message. However, traditional projection systems may struggle to provide consistent image quality, especially in large venues with multiple viewing areas and livestream requirements.

A church in Canada faced these challenges with its existing projection system. Worshippers seated on the upper level had difficulty viewing scripture and presentation content clearly, while livestream audiences experienced image flickering and moiré patterns during broadcasts.

Project Challenges

The church environment required a display solution that could balance visual performance, architectural protection, and ease of operation. Due to the multi-level seating layout, a single display could not provide clear visibility for every audience area. The solution needed to include a main screen and side screens to ensure consistent viewing from different angles.

In addition, worship environments usually use soft and low lighting to create a comfortable atmosphere. The LED display needed to deliver detailed images without excessive brightness or uncomfortable glare. The installation also required special consideration. The sanctuary walls included acoustic panels designed to maintain sound quality, meaning the display structure had to remain lightweight and avoid major changes to the existing environment. Finally, the control system needed to be simple enough for church staff to operate without professional technical knowledge.

Customized LED Display Solution

To address these requirements, CLT developed a customized visual solution based on the LM2 Series indoor LED display. The project included a large main LED screen installed behind the stage and two side-mounted LED screens for live video feeds, scripture display, and event information. This three-screen layout created a complete visual communication system for both worship services and other church activities. Each cabinet weighs only 3.5kg, allowing flexible installation while reducing impact on the existing acoustic structure. For low-light worship spaces, CLT optimized the display performance through customized brightness and grayscale adjustment. The result is a softer and more natural image experience that maintains visual details without affecting the atmosphere of the venue. The 3840Hz high refresh rate also provides smooth and stable image performance, effectively reducing flickering and moiré effects during professional camera shooting and livestream broadcasting. This ensures that both onsite audiences and online viewers receive a clear visual experience.

After installation, the church achieved a significant improvement in visual communication. Worshippers seated in different areas of the venue can now clearly view presentations, scripture, and live video content. The main LED screen provides immersive backgrounds for worship performances, while the side screens ensure important information is visible throughout the service. The easy-to-use control system also allows church staff to quickly switch between different content sources.
